In short
If you’re in Kuwait, you can buy a travel eSIM from 22SIM and pay for it in installments through Deema. You choose Deema on the payment page and approve the installment plan; your order is then completed and your eSIM arrives like any other order, and you pay the rest on schedule with no profit charges.
What is Deema?
Deema is a Kuwaiti buy now, pay later platform, and the first of its kind to be licensed by the Central Bank of Kuwait, in August 2025. The idea is simple: you buy today and the order value is split into installments, usually three or four depending on the store and the plan you’re offered, and Deema says its plans carry no profit charges or hidden fees. It currently works in Kuwaiti dinars, and you’ll find it at many Kuwaiti stores; Jazeera Airways even made it available for booking tickets in February 2026.
How to pay with Deema when buying your eSIM
Paying with Deema
- Choose your destination and plan in the 22SIM app or on the website.
- On the payment page, choose Deema.
- You’re taken to Deema’s page, where you review and approve the installment plan. The decision appears within seconds.
- You pay the first installment, your order is completed, and you receive a QR code to install your eSIM.
- You pay the remaining installments on schedule and track them in the Deema app.
When do installments make sense?
Installments help when your eSIM comes on top of big expenses that are all paid before you travel: tickets, hotel and visa. Take a family of five traveling to Turkey in the summer: everyone needs an eSIM, so the total becomes noticeable, and spreading it over months eases the budget. The same goes for anyone choosing a long plan or a full-year plan. For a small eSIM for a short trip, paying once is usually simpler. And if you’re a group, first ask about the group discount when buying several eSIMs at once.

Before you tap “Approve”
Before approving
- Make sure the installments fit your budget for the coming months, not just this month.
- Check the installment dates in the Deema app and turn on reminders.
- Read Deema’s terms on late payment before you approve.
- Check that your phone supports eSIM before buying, because an installed and used eSIM can’t be refunded.
- A minimum order value may be required for the Deema option to appear.
Installments not for you?
No problem, 22SIM has other payment methods: KNET, cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express in some regions), Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal, mada in Saudi Arabia, BENEFIT in Bahrain, QPay in Qatar and local payment methods in the UAE. Whatever method you use, the final amount appears in the order summary before you confirm payment.
